Just finished reading: Bunny by Mona Awad
I finally finished Bunny by Mona Awad, and i honestly need to sit in a dark room to process what i just experienced. This book is unhinged in the most literary, ” am i okay?” kind of way, and somehow i loved every second of it. This book is giving dark academia, lonely in grad school vibes… then slowly slips into “what the hell is happening” territory. Its weird. It’s trippy. It’s beautifully written. And at some point i swear Mona Awad drugged me, not just the characters. The writing is so cleaver and dreamy that you don’t even realize the story has gone completely off the rails until you’re too deep to turn back.
My next read: Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell
I’ve always loved a good mystery or thriller, basically anything with a little murder and a lot of drama. This book seems perfect for me even though i know I’ll have to read it in broad daylight because ‘im easily spooked and refuse to suffer in the dark.
